Sindhura here. Hope everyone is doing good. Today I have some ideas about how to use Pocket Pages cards on cards. If you know me, I'm neither good at scrapbooking nor Pocket Page scrapbooking. I really admire those who effortlessly create layouts.
Recently I have seen some very, very adorable MAMBI Pocket Pages cards. I was so tempted to get them but wasn't sure. When Karuna asked me if I wanted to try them and create something different, I didn't think twice to say 'Yes!'!
Here is what my DT pack consisted of...
The MAMBI cards are so much fun to play with.
I am yet to take out the stamp from the package.
The die cuts from Fancy Pants called 'Millie and June' perfectly coordinate with the Fancy Pants 'Millie and June' 6x6 paper pack.
The best thing was, the die cuts and papers in the paper pad coordinate with the MAMBI cards. The set I got was 'Tween Purple'. The colours match perfectly with die cuts and papers. So I was in luck and could use them easily together.
First, I wanted to show the individual products used for the following projects so you would get an idea about how I ended up using them.
For my first project I used a couple of cards from the cards set just the way we use patterned papers. I layered one on the other. To make the die cut stand out, i layered the papers with vellum. Added enamel dots for more interest.
The next card turned out so cute! I have a thing for cute owl images and one of the cards has a very adorable owl image on it. I fussy cut it out from the card, added a black beak in place of the red one. To make it look even cuter, I added googly eyes. Isn't that fun?
The next card is pretty straight forward. I took the card from the set, adhered it on a the card base whose background was done using stitched dies. Then I die cut the word and hearts from the dies in my stash and coated them with glossy accents.
